How to apply to the National Research School in General Practice
Requirements for admission
You should have been admitted to do postgraduate research in medicine, within the subject of general practice, and you should have a clinically oriented research programme. First consideration will be given to research students who have not yet passed the mid-point seminar. In second place come research students who have passed the mid-point seminar, and in third place applicants who are about to be accepted as research students.
Content of the application
- A letter (approx. one A4 page) stating why you want to join the research school
- A brief CV (2 pages)
- A copy of a certificate of admission to postgraduate education
- Individual study plan (doctoral dissertation plan)
- Project plan (max. 8 pages)
Deadline
Your application should reach the course administration of the research school by 30 April 2012.

Assessment of your application
All applications will be assessed and ranked by the school’s management group, which will then decide which applicants will be admitted. Decisions on admissions will be communicated before the end of June 2012.
